The Month of March: A Season of Becoming

March will feel like a pause between who we were and who we’re slowly becoming.
It’s not as loud as January’s resolutions or as bright as April’s promises.
March is softer. It asks us to notice.
This month, maybe you have been sitting with the idea that growth doesn’t always look like progress. Sometimes, it looks like rest. Sometimes, it looks like confusion. And sometimes, it looks like staying when everything inside you wants to rush ahead.
First: Learning to Be Gentle With Where You Are
If you used to think that you had to be “more” by now—more accomplished, more certain, more confident. Hopefully, this month will remind you that becoming one takes time.
There’s no deadline for healing. No schedule for figuring things out.
This week will help you to learn to speak to yourself the way you would speak to someone you love: with patience, kindness, and room to breathe.
Second: Growth Isn’t Always Visible
Not all progress can be posted, measured, or celebrated publicly. Some growth happens quietly—inside moments no one else sees.
Choosing to try again.
Choosing not to give up on yourself.
Choosing to stay soft in a world that rewards hardness.
Hoping that you realize that just because something isn’t visible doesn’t mean it isn’t real.
Third: Letting Go of the Need to Rush
March will teach you that life doesn’t bloom all at once.
Some days will feel like standing still, but maybe standing still is exactly what allows roots to grow deeper.
Here’s to learning to trust slow days. To trust pauses. To trust that what’s meant for you doesn’t need to be chased—it will meet you when you’re ready.
Fourth: Becoming Without Pressure
As the month ends, learn to measure March by achievements. You will want to measure it by honesty.
Did you listen to yourself?
Did you allow yourself to feel without judgment?
Did you choose softness when I could have chosen self-criticism?
If you did even one of those, then this month mattered.
March doesn’t demand perfection.
It invites presence.
If you’re reading this and feeling like you’re behind, unsure, or unfinished—this is your reminder: you’re allowed to be in progress.
Becoming is not a race.
And you are not late.
